Mystery School FAQ
- Must one have attended Almine's classes to enroll in the IAM Mystery School?
No.
- Is it required to have studied any of Almine's books or other materials before enrolling in the IAM ?
There are no formal course prerequisites. However, we ask that students attempt to familiarize themselves with Spiritual Journeys materials beforehand, such as Almine's podcasts, videos and books. Her weblog, Facebook and Twitter are also good places to start. All of these can be accessed through the Spiritual Journeys website. Almine's Science of Immortality & Incorruptibility broadcast (linked here) is also recommended.
- What else will I need for this course?
A computer and an internet connection, a printer and ink. The text-content of the Science of Immortality curriculum is currently only available as web pages to be viewed online. These pages can be downloaded to a computer, but this process is not always straight-forward. However, these pages can be printed.
The text-content of Interstellar Mysticism is available in the PDF format only, which means that an internet connection is just necessary to dowload the file, but not to read it.
Although one may choose to generally not print materials, please be aware that the (optional) mystical ceremonies of both courses generally require printing.
The audio content of both courses is delivered in the mp3 format. These files can be played online, or downloaded to your computer and played offline.
Please ensure that the Flash Player in your browser and your PDF Reader are up to date.
Recommended browsers for this course are Firefox and Chrome , but Explorer and Safari will also work, just as long as they are updated.
- How is the Science of Incorruptibility coursework delivered?
Coursework is delivered six days per week - every day except Sunday - for 12 weeks. Daily curricula alternates between lessons involving text & graphics ( from the heretofore uncirculated God Trilogy manuscripts ) and audio reflections follow-up days. This method is designed to enhance understanding and absorption of the written course materials.
- How is the Interstellar Mysticism coursework delivered?
The format is similar to the Science of Incorruptibility, except with a greater emphasis on sound healing.

What is the purpose of the virtual student lounge?
We have learned that many in our fast-growing Spiritual Journeys international family yearn to learn more about others attracted to Almine's materials, and share insights with and network among each other. Our virtual student lounge functionality is designed to facilitate such interaction within a media-rich, user-friendly, password-controlled format.
- Will students retain access to either the IAM coursework or the Virtual Student Lounge once the three-month enrollment period expires?
Access to IAM coursework will remain available to students, using their Institute logins and password, for four weeks following completion of the curriculum.
- How many hours per day are required for study?
This, of course, varies. Allowing 3/4 hour for text & graphics days and 1/2 hour for audio reflections days should be adequate. In addition, however, there are sacred ceremonies within each IAM curricula, which utilize mandalas and other sacred images. Time needed to prepare for and perform these (optional) ceremonies is beyond the basic daily time allocations.

If a student doesn't log in for several days or as long as a week - for example, due to vacation plans - does that mean those days of lessons are lost?
No. All lessons are stored on the password-controlled IAM curriculum website as archives, accumulating as students advance through the curriculum. For example, one month into the curriculum, all students have daily access to all the lessons delivered to that point.
- In the monthly payment plan, will I be able to access the network if I don't pay in time?
By default, no. In this plan, at the turn of every month one's status is set to "payment required" and membership is paused. Inherent to this setting is not being able to access the network until payments have been made and membership is reactivated. However, if you are unable to fulfill this in time, send us a message.
- I don't have a printer. Can I take these materials to a copy shop?
Yes. But please note that, due to the sacred nature of the material, some participants have felt uncomfortable at the prospect of it being handled at a copy shop.
- Do you have a trial period, or a refund policy?
There is no trial period, but participants can exit the course and obtain a full refund until the end of the first two weeks of the first month.
- What happens when I cannot keep up with the course?
The network remains open one month after the curriculum ends, providing enough time to ensure everything can be captured to one's computer. If, however, one fell behind due to not being able to process and assimilate the information quickly enough, please send us a message about enrolling in future courses.
